Our story

When podcasting started I thought it would be one of those things that just fades away, like laser-disc, or eight tracks. Clearly I’m not the one to tap into the next big thing, I thought TikTok was a fad too. I certainly never thought I would do a podcast. But when my friend, Dean’na, talked with Marsha and I about creating one, it seemed kinda fun. With a few mouse clicks and some soundproofed magic, In the Real was born.

Our why

Our goal is to talk about life: the good, bad, funky smelling, ugly, hard stuff, and the triumphs. Women are fierce warriors and comforters. God called us to be both, and we are free to embrace both, with wisdom and compassion. In the Real is a coffee chat between friends. We laugh and cry. We pull no punches. We fight with and for each other. We link shields by linking our hearts.
